Description
I'm starting up a curly girl flower illustration series for my patreons and I'm really happy with how this illustration turned out. For my next illustration I want to do it based off of my friends little daughter who has blond/semi red, curly/wavy whispy hair <3 I have a few flower idea's in mind to pair with the illustration ;D
For this illustration I have the flower on top of her head a Balsamine flower (which means impatience in flower language) I decided to go with that flower at the top because I battle with waiting to take down my Bantu knots; I can't tell if they're dry or still damp and my scalp feels so soar with them in and with my hair texture it's very uncomfortable to sleep in so I have very little patience when it comes to this hair style, thus I thought this flower would be perfect.
I also wanted to add a little encouragement poem because I was feeling blue and I thought that maybe some of my other curly girls might have been feeling that way as well so I read a really nice poem and used that poem as reference for this one.
